Are you visiting this blog the first time??

This post is for the visitors of the blog... That means for everyone except 5 of us who created, evolved and nurtured the blog. The idea was to improve our respective vocabularies by following the fat red book that you might have come across... Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis...

If you're interested on how it all started and what we planned please see the first post

Now, lets get down to how you can benefit from it... if at all...

Firstly, i should make it clear that the book is a master piece and we can never ever come close to what it can give you. My advice is that if you ever plan to start the book, start it TODAY. Take one session a day... anytime... while travelling... before sleeping... between classes... or between work... it hardly takes 15-30 minutes and you can finish the entire thing in 9 weeks flat; i.e. if i discount the weekends. And its not a bad deal.

You can keep reading this blog along with the sessions. Needless to say, you have to start from the archives... do it backwards.

For those of you who are still wondering whether to do it or not, i'll leave you with a quote by Bertrand Russell...

"The trouble with the world is that the stupid are always cocksure and the intelligent are always filled with doubt."

Do leave your comments if you like...

And since this in all probability is the last post on this blog, i'll sign off with these lines i accidentally tumbled upon today...

'And, oh! what beautiful years were these
When our hearts clung each to each;
When life was filled and our senses thrilled
In the first faint dawn of speech.

Thus life by life and love by love
We passed through the cycles strange,
And breath by breath and death by death
We followed the chain of change.'

(I know it makes little sense here, nevertheless i liked it enough to be posted...)
